THE POST-NONCLASSICAL STAGE OF CONCEPTUALIZATION OF THE TERM «HEREDITY»
Abstract
The peculiarities of conceptualization of the inheritance notion in the context of philosophical categories "property-substance", "internal-external" and other categories characteristic of the current period of post-non-classical stage of development of genetics are identified. The definition of a gene inherited as part of the genome that affects any phenotypic trait is proposed. Scientific discoveries in biology, which helped to define the concept of "inheritance», are described.
